SPRING 2016 INTERNSHIP– MAGISTRATE JUDGE ALAN KAY (D.D.C)

Magistrate Judge Alan Kay of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia is seeking ambitious 2Ls or 3Ls interested in serving as judicial interns for spring 2016.  This internship satisfies credit requirements in participating law schools.  Internship duties include: researching legal issues, analyzing motions, editing and cite checking, and writing briefs on substantive and procedural issues.  Candidates must be highly motivated to learn about the judicial system, have excellent research and writing skills, and possess well-developed interpersonal skills.  Schedule is flexible and involves 10-20 hours weekly. Applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis.
