CUA Law Students – last minute summer funding for public interest placements

Equal Justice America just reached out to invite CUA law students to apply for some last-minute funding available for summer work. They will award on a 1st-come, 1st-served basis three $1,000 stipends to students working with non-profit organizations providing direct civil legal services to the poor.
Note: Placements with public defender offices and government agencies DO NOT qualify. More info about the program is available at
To apply, send an email to Dan Ruben at with the following attached:
1. Cover letter
2. Resume
3. Confirmation of employment (an email or letter from your placement)
4. Information about any funding you are already slated to receive.
5. Note: Although the EJA website mentions submitting 2 recommendation letters, you do not need to do so to apply for this funding.
