General Practice

Duties:  Represent low income clients in court, assist with outreach and intake as needed.  Areas of practice include, but are not limited to consumer law, housing law, employment law, education law.  Geographic coverage includes Prince George’s and Howard Counties. Local travel required.

Qualifications: Admitted to practice in the State of Maryland, or admitted in another jurisdiction and eligible for admission in the State of Maryland. Out-of-State attorneys must be able and available to take next scheduled bar exam following date of employment. Spanish language proficiency desirable. 


Elder Law/Public Benefits  

Duties:  Represent Seniors (60+) and low-income individuals of all ages in trial courts, appeals, and administrative proceedings in connection with Elder Law and State and Federal Public Benefits.  Attorney may be called upon to represent clients in other substantive legal areas. Other duties as assigned.  Local travel required.

Qualifications:  Admission to Maryland Bar or bar of another jurisdiction required.  Prior Legal Services, Elder Law and/or public benefits law experience desired.  Spanish language proficiency especially desirable.
