Interested in a summer or postgraduate public interest job?

Consider applying to organizations interviewing at the 2013 Equal Justice Works Career Fair.  See below for details – the short story is that you can use a guest password to view the posted positions, and if you see any of interest, you register, pay a $25 refundable registration fee, then upload your cover letter and resume on the same site by Thursday, September 12, to be considered.  Employers may register and post jobs until September 5, so check the site periodically for updates.

Details

The 2013 Equal Justice Works Career Fair and Conference will be held on Friday, October 25 and Saturday, October 26 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel, Arlington,VA.  The event includes both a Career Fair (prescheduled interviews and table talk for summer and entry level public interest positions with over 100 employers) and a Conference (sessions relating to the practice of public interest law).

The 2013 Registration and Application Guide is available here: http://files.equaljusticeworks.org/ccf/studentregistrationguide2013.pdf

If you wish to be considered for an interview with any of the participating employers, you must register and submit your application materials by Thursday, September 12.  You’ll be asked to identify your member law school from a pull-down list – note that CUA Law is listed under “The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law,” which appears alphabetically under the “T’s.”

You have until 5pm EST on Friday, October 11, to cancel your registration and receive a full refund, should you choose to do so.  Employers have until October 3 to notify interviewees, so you should know before the October 11 deadline whether you’ve been invited to interview or not.

A list of employers registered so far for the 2013 Career Fair can be found on the site. To view available positions before you register, log in using username “EJWguest” and password “guest” (case sensitive). Click Job Search under Jobs & Interview Schedules in the top menu bar, and then click Search to view a list of active positions.

EJW will host a free webinar on Friday, October 4, at 3:30 pm entitled Get the Most Out of CCF to Land the Job.  Registration information is available at http://equaljusticeworks.org/node/78628.
