Candidates sought by the Office for Civil Rights, U.S. Department of Education Deadline Tuesday, February 5, 2013 The Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) is seeking candidates for possible hiring. 

OCR seeks attorneys with excellent legal skills and a passion for civil rights for a position involving legal analysis, policy development, representing the agency in deliberations and discussions within the Department of Education, with other government agencies and with outside stakeholders, and other responsibilities.  Experience in civil rights and education is a plus.

OCR values a diverse professional team and encourages applications from candidates of all backgrounds.
