UCDC Law Program Director Position

Director, UCDC Law Program. The UCDC Law Program is a Washington, D.C.-based externship program providing oversight to students from four UC law schools:  UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Irvine, and UCLA.  Students apply for the fall or spring semester and participate full-time in government and non-profit agencies while taking a companion seminar that examines the role of lawyers in creating, influencing, and performing federal law and policy.  The Director plays a central role in the strategic development, administration and implementation of the UCDC Law Program in collaboration with the participating UC Law School campuses.  The Director will have teaching responsibilities for the required companion seminar. This is a two-year renewable contract position at 100% time, located in Washington, D.C., with a start date of July 1, 2011.
