Attorney – Americans United for Separation of Church and State

Americans United for Separation of Church and State is accepting applications for a full-time litigation counsel.  The attorney will serve as principal counsel in church-state cases throughout the country, drafting pleadings and briefs, taking depositions, and conducting oral arguments.  The ideal candidate will have at least five years of litigation experience (including, preferably, time served in a judicial clerkship), the ability to run cases, excellent writing and analytical skills, strong academic credentials, good oral advocacy skills, the ability and willingness to periodically work long hours and to travel, and strong interpersonal skills.  A complete copy of the job posting is attached and can also be found at
