Law Clerk/Intern – District Alliance for Safe Housing (DASH)

The District Alliance for Safe Housing, Inc. (DASH), is looking for a part-time law clerk/intern this spring.  The Law Clerk will provide essential legal research and fact gathering concerning housing issues that affect survivors of domestic violence, draft memoranda, and monitor and analyze bills, regulations and other policy documents.

Qualifications: Strong interest in public policy or the legal system; Past work in the area of policy analysis or public policy advocacy strongly encouraged/desired; Strong writing, research, analytical and organizational skills; Comfortable with legal research tools, including LexisNexis and Westlaw; and Commitment to eradicating violence against women and a general interest in social justice issues.
