The Employment Justice Center (DC) seeks spring and summer law clerks to perform legal research and writing and provide litigation support to staff attorneys; attend and participate in the EJC’s weekly Workers’ Rights Clinics on Mondays and Wednesdays; conduct intakes for clients who cannot come to the weekly clinics; and participate in advocacy and organizing efforts.  Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred.

Spring Semester Clerkships are approximately 15 hours per week.  Summer Clerkships are full-time.  Law clerks are either paid or receive academic credit (as allowed by each law clerk’s law school).  The EJC, however, requires law clerks to seek alternative and/or supplemental funding through fellowships, work-study, or externship programs.  See flyer for details.

The Asian/Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project (DVRP) is seeking an Advocates Program Co-Director.  Founded in 1995, DVRP is a nonprofit organization that seeks to address and prevent domestic violence in Asian and Pacific Islander (A/PI) communities in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.  The primary duties of the Advocates Program Co-Director are to coordinate the semi-annual, 50+ hour Advocates Program Training; evaluate the effectiveness of the Advocates Program services; and oversee grant reporting for the Advocates Program.  See flyer for details.
